Installing Office 2007 on two computers?

I have a laptop and desktop computer at my home which is currently running with Office 2003. Both computers are used by me only. Now I’m planning to upgrade Office from v2003 to v2007. Before I buy, I wanted to know whether I need to purchase two copies of office or only one can be installed on both computers as I said, both are used by me itself?

    Please Advice.

Usually one copy of Office can be installed on only One computer under commercial situation. But if you are not going to use it for commercial use then better purchase MS Office Home and Student 2007 edition. It comes with three license keys which means you can install and use it on three computers.

Whenever you buy any Office Edition, it use to be written on its cover on the backside on how many computer sit can be installed. If you don’t want to spend double and want to use it on both laptops, best suggestion is to go with Office Home and Student edition as suggested by Eduards above.

I have Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and I have installed it on my Notebook and my Desktop and they have both activated and are working fine.
So yes you can install it on up to 3 computers!
