Xlsx attachments are not working Outlook Email

"The system cannot find the specified file" -- Error message. Previous to this-- I just did an Office Repair/Diagnostic-- and would receive a series of error messages-- "Can't find c:\documents.xlsx" and then would parse the file name into a series of 5 or 6 errors.

There are number of reason because of which you cannot open a .xlsx attachments. Fist of if the file is corrupted of if Microsoft office is not able to execute properly. The only way to fix it, is to first run a repair installation. Do not forget to get the data backup

Are you trying to open the .xlsx file directly from the attachment. The one when you click and it gives yo openwith box. First download the file on your system. And then open it. The other way to check that the file is corrupted or not, is by opening it from your inbox in google docs.
