How to copy colors from another workbook to new in Microsoft Excel

It was very simple in the previous version, where we just need to click on Tools > Options > Color tab > Copy colors from. I am here to figure out if this feature is there in Microsoft Office 2007. Copy cell styles from another workbook doesn't seem to work, nor does the Excel options Advanced tab.

Here is my own solution for restoring the original colors when copying certain highly formatted sheets or templates to a new 2007 spreadsheet, it copies all data directly, so it only works if you need to copy an entire sheet and import / restore all the colors, not only apply colors to a different sheet with different data: First, open both workbooks. Then copy the original format workbook by ctrl + g and then select the appropriate range and paste it into the new work sheet, colors will be all changed with the destination still highlighted, right click and go to "Paste special" and select "All using source theme", then repeat the paste special, only with "Values" this time, and it should be identical to the original sheet you copied.

To do this it will be very complicated because the color change of a cell does not trigger any events. With VBA coding, what you ask is possible but it requires to set up many rules. Color is a presentation format and its spread to infinity as you will not likely be realized. If you want someone to look more closely you should put a specific example. I put color in Conditional Formatting, another (orange) set by double-clicking (macro), two others made by Action button.
