How do I get cross-hatching in Excel 2007?

Under format/cell/fill/patterns, Excel 2003 supported cross hatching. I cannot find it in Excel 2007? Where did they hide it? Can anyone tell me? Thanks

You need to select your cell and then right click - Format cells - Fill Tab - Pattern style. Office Button > Home > Format > Format Cells > Fill > Pattern Style. In Excel 2007 you cannot actually find it. But you could make a detour via Word. There you can insert format with AutoForm that is also known from the earlier pattern.

The hatches were not completely removed from Excel 2007 in order to remain compatible with older versions. But there is no button on the ribbon that no longer exist, to assign it. This becomes a free add-in advantage, which was developed by Andy Pope.
