How can I downgrade to Office 2003 from Office 2010.......... any idea?
After uninstalling 2010 completely do a clean install of 2003, that's it.
Peter, but what can you do with your Outlook messages if you downgrade to either 2007 or 2003? Assuming 2010 works like 2007, you can always save off regular documents in the older formats, but Outlook messages? Assume 2010 still uses the .pst schema? Can they be exported then imported back into the older versions? Some other way?

I think that it is very easy to export your email in Outlook 2010 very easily, even Calendar, Contacts, Tasks or other data. This comes in handy when you would like to backup your data or move your data to another computer. But in older versions it cant be exported, but it can be converted in different file format and used in other softwares.
Actually, James, you can export all of those in Outlook 2003 and 2007 just fine, both of which I've had (2007 now of course). You can export them in several formats, including PST files, the native format for Outlook stuff. My question is whether THAT file, created in Outlook 2010 can be then IMported into either Outlook 2003 or 2007 if you decided to go back. Both allow you to import a PST and other formats, but the question was if the newer version is compatible with those older ones.

You can check the article below on how to import an older version pst into Outlook 2010 if you get an error ".pst is not compatible" error message when you open an Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007 .pst file in earlier versions of Outlook:
