Error message : Cannot empty the clipboard

I have Office 2007 Pro installed in my Windows XP system. Many times I am getting an error message that says "Cannot Empty the Clipboard" but if I am opening the Office Clipboard then it shows no items. So, for this thing, I need to log off and login again which usually takes a lot of time. Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks.

All you need to do is just open Task Manager and then go to Processes and look for "rdpclip.exe" and then right click on it and end that process.

You can also try to empty the temp folder by following the below steps:

1. First of all click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run
2. After that you need to copy and paste the following text in the Open field and then press Enter:
   %temp%
3. Make sure that all applications are closed before deleting the files.
4. Now delete all the files and folders from the above location.
