Microsoft Excel/Words Office12 Crash

If I am opening my Excel/Words document, then the system will pop a windows which will not be respoding and will give me the below error message:

Found a solution that worked for me.

I had about the same problem on Windows 2008R2. Actualy The entire office suite (Excel/Word/Outllok) gave me the Office12Crash problem. The problem started appearing after performing a Windows Update. I started uninstalling each one of the updates until the problem was fixed. It appears that uninstalling windows update KB977724 fixed the problem.

Solution: Uninstall windows update KB977724.

I am having the same error when working with Excel. And I don't have the KB977724 update installed. Are you sure it fixed the problem?

One of my friend was also having the same issue and all errors referred to the propsys.dll file. Usually propsys.dll is for the Microsoft Property System and it sounds like the dll has become corrupt and somebody referred two links to him that may be of some help for you as well, not exactly the problem you are experiencing, but SHOULD give you some place to start.
