MSI 970 Gaming vs Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0

I am looking to purchase a new motherboard and want specially for gaming requirements. Rest of the hardware components are already decided, such the the FX-8350 CPU, 16GB DDR3 memory from Corsair or Kingston, Radeon R9 280X graphics card, Corsair 750Watts Power Supply, a good CPU cooler, etc. I am now only stuck with which mobo to go for either MSI 970 Gaming or Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0? Can anyone please suggest me which one among this should I go for? Thanks

I would suggest you to go with the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 motherboard. Asus brand have got a very nice BIOS compared to the MSI boards and are best overclockers as well. This Asus board will work great with the Amd FX-8350 CPU with 8 cores and has very good stability. It comes with different inbuilt applications like Auto-Tuning that can easily overclock your processor and also it can monitor fan speeds and temperatures as well.

I recently bought Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 to replace my old Asus motherboard. I didnt had any kind of problems with my previous Asus board and I can vouch that Asus is the best brand for motherboards. This new board from Asys is build for gaming enthusiasts and I am very pleased to have it. The Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 comes with very easy install and also has all the connections that I need. And whats more than having 3 PCI express slots for graphics card and support for 32GB memory you would expect.

The MSI 970 Gaming comes with a good audio codec and Lan hardware compared to the Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 motherboard. Other than that both motherboards have similar features. But still I would rather suggest you to go with Asus motherboard which is a good build because there have been a lot of complaints by user who have bought MSI 970 Gaming motherboard which seems to die soon.
