    Motherboard for R9 270x needed

I am looking to purchase a new motherboard with a Radeon R9 270X and Amd FX-6300 processor. I will also like to add 4 or 8GB of RAM. So, I was wondering if this graphics card would perform better with the CPU? Or do I need to go with another GPU and CPU altogether? Which motherboard would you suggest me to buy along with the PSU and cases. I would be using this pc mainly for gaming and graphics editing. Thanks for any inputs.

I dont think there will be any problems with the Radeon R9 270X and the FX 6300 processor, they will both do just fine without any issues. As for the Power Supply, you need to get a minimum of 500Watts PSU either from brands like Seasonic, XFX, Antec, Corsair, etc. This PSU brands supply a high quality power supply which is enough to give power to all the components. As for the motherboard, go with any 970FX mobo which will support the FX-6300 processor just fine. A good mid tower case will be enough for storing all the hardware.

The graphics card that you have considered is a nice one for a medium level cards. Also, if I were at your place then I might have been looking into getting a AMD FX-8350 processor over the FX-6300. Also, go with the Cooler Master computer cases along with the Corsair 600Watt Gold power supply which comes for atleast 3 years of warranty. This are the best products running in the market as of now. I have also heard that Sapphire cards are also pretty good in long run.

Incase you are tight on the budget then I would recommend you to go with the AMD FX-6300 CPU only. This is the best processor for a budget build but it gives you a reliability for only a couple of years. Also, you should try grabbing RAM of 1600mhz unless 1333mhz is a lot cheaper. As for the PSU you can grab any 550W power supply Gold or Bronze from Antec or Seasonic because the graphics card and CPU that you have choosen will take a lot of power. For a cheap and durable motherboard go with the MSI 990XA-GGD5.
