System failed to boot on Gigabyte Sniper M5 board

Gigabyte Sniper M5 is quiet a nice board. I am having a bit problem with configuration on it. I am not able to get appropriate output. After installation the system is not turning on. I had tried to check all the connection and it looks properly. There is no power on the board. I am not doing this for the first time. I hope the board is working fine. How can I find whether a board is dead or working.

It would be a connectivity issue. It happens most of the time when you put a wrong power connector on the cpu. And the system fails to boot. Many board have a light on them. When you connect the system to with power outlet the light turns on showing up that the psu is fine. But if that is not on then it means there is no power at all. To test just change the power cord also. You can find them easily in your nearest shop.

Check the power cord first. It is correct that it might be damage. Second check the front pin headers. The place where you connect your front power button and restart button. Check that all pins are properly connected on the front side. There are tiny two pin cables. It can be a issue with power button. You might have placed the headers in wrong pin due to which your system is not not turning on.
