Cost of Intel Core i7 4930K in India

I am looking for the cost of cpu model. It is Intel Core i7 4930. My friend said he has one which he want to sell. And it is not very old. He ask me to give him a price for that. Now I am not aware about the actual cost. I am going to build a system for my brother in which I had planned to add this cpu. I can see other Core i7 models in the market. But not this one. So what would be the best amount should I say.

I do not think that cpu is available online. I can see a 4770 that comes for Rs.22000. The one which you had mentioned will be more costlier. Try to find some other model I think you will be able to get that on any shopping website.

There are some more reasonable processor available which you can try out. Like Intel 3.2 GHz LGA2011 Core i7-3930K. This is the costliest one. This cpu comes for Rs.42700. It is a 6core cpu. The model which you had posted is not available. I tried to find that but it looks not available on any site. You can checkout the one which I had mentioned above. It is a very costly processor. Core i7 also comes in other reasonable models. Like Intel 3.06 GHz LGA 1366 Core i7-950. This cpu comes for Rs.20000. Which is quiet more than enough for any gaming system. You can hook high ram on the same and build up your own machine. The costly one just offer you more cache memory. Other things remains the same. You can find the full list of cpu on Intel's website which will add more highlight on the different models.

Why you need Intel Core 7. There are Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processor also available at a much different price. They are more cheaper and reasonable. You have to ignore the overclocking thing here. Core i7 is great cpu for overclocking. If you do not want that you can simply go ahead with a lower version.
