Onboard sound is too low on MSI 990FXA-GD80

I have Core i7 CPU with MSI 990FXA-GD80. I am disappointed with this motherboard because it is more frustrating and very low output of sound. I brought this board last month because my old system has two low performances. But still I am not satisfied with on-board sound quality of this board. I have Altec Lansing BX1221 sound system which gives great output on my Laptop but in my desktop system loudness is too low. I don’t understand why this problem is occurred. Anyone have any solution for this than please help me.

I also have MSI 990FXA-GD80 motherboard with Core I5 CPU which I brought before few months. It is working fine and has superb performance. I have Creative SBS A220 and giving superb output. I think you might be a problem with equalizer. Loudness equalization in your computer is turned off in realtech sound manager. That’s why you don’t have a sufficient output.

But my problem is that my onboard sound card cannot give proper output. I think problem is with my sound system but I checked it with another computer and it is working fine. Sometimes Mic is not working and Sound cuts when I am playing Games. I don’t understand what was the issue? Anyone have any solution for this please help, I am tired with this problem.

Hey buddy, I also have MSI 990FXA-GD80 motherboard and don’t have any problem. Sound is working fine with Quality Output. I think you are not installed proper driver for realtech. Update your driver with latest version. Install the THX Studio Pro and realtech sound manage. Check the setting in THX Studio. Make sure all is adjusted properly and setting in realtech sound manager is corrected. Sometimes volume knob is turn down in Sound system and output is low. I hope that will help you to solve your problem.
