Bios update to v0035 Bricks Intel DZ77GA-70K System, how to recover it

I am having the intel DZ77GA-70K motherboard. I downloaded the .exe BIOS updater & ran it. There were never any updates on the screen indicating that the BIOS was updating, but after several minutes the system powered off. I am unable to boot the system. How do I restore the bios settings for my mother board?

I was also having the same problem. I wanted to restore the bios settings but I was unable to do so. I told this problem to my friend and he gave me the detailed explanation to restore the bios. To restore the bios settings follow the steps.
    1. Power down your system.
    2. Change the bios jumper configuration by moving the pins of the jumper from 1&2 to 2&3
    3. Turn on the computer.
    4. The system should display the splash screen and will automatically go to the bios configuration.
    5. Change the IDG Primary Video Port to Auto.
    6. Change the Primary Video Adapter to Auto.
    7. Exit bios. The system will prompt you to power down the system.
    8. The system will start as normally as it use to start.

I had the same problem in my motherboard. I did not know how to restore the bios settings. I discussed this problem with my engineer and he gave me the proper advice to restore the bios settings. There are many ways but the one my engineer told me the easiest way. The easiest way is to clear the CMOS. The easiest way to restore the bios settings is to remove all the power cables from the system and also remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for around half an hour. This will clear the CMOS and restore the bios.

If any of above solution not work for you then make call to Intel customer care and register your problem with little discussion. After a first call they take couple of days and Intel representative call you days and he know your problem already and give you alternate solutions. He gives you proper steps by steps solution and if one solution is not working then gives you another solution. He solved your problem anyhow.
