I am running a somewhat old XP machine that was donated to me. Allow me to explain.
I used to have a HP machine that ran VIsta--hense my user ID. That machine died due to the motherboard failing.
So since I really need this thing for just about everything, a friend heard her boss (a doctor at a hospital) had this machine that he wanted to get rid of. So I was the lucky recipient. But it really runs slow. It only has 1.2 gigs of memory. My vista machine had 2 gigs.
How do I determine what is the apporiate ram-stick to get for this thing? According to the performance lable, this is a Dell Optiplex 160L, 4CPU, 2.40 Ghz, 1.25 GB of RAM.
Is this the correct information for new RAM stick?
