Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-73PVM-S2H Doesnt boot

Got a PC unit that doesnt want to boot.
Have updated the Power unit as was told it may be faulty.
It was working fine now nothing happens.
any help welcome asap .

When you say it was working fine for sometime, then did you do anything in that period with your system, like installed new software, or hardware perhaps? Can you take out the CMOS battery from the motheboard and reseat it after 5 minutes or so and then check whether it boots normally or not.

Yes it worked for about a year and I had some work done in the house so i unpluged it for 2 weeks .
when i pluged everything again it started normaly till windows asked fpr password.
as i was typing it the system just turned off.
it wount turn on again.
the processor fan will work for about 10sec but thats it
no clicks nobeeps, nothing on screen
have even bought a new batery for cmos so yes batery was out for more than 3 hours when i took it to buy a new one.
dont no what else to do.
pcworld were i bought it +/- a year ago wants £45 to have a look at it, and that just to look, they dont garantie that they can repiar or find the fault.
ive been told that they will recomend to buy a new board because thats what they do normaly... but at the momente I cant afford it but I need it asap.
any help will be very welcome
