    AMD Phenom II X6 1100T vs FX-8120

When Intel launched the core 2 duo with dual core processor, it pulled many users to it. At that time AMD lost most of their high end products to it and could achieve only some part of the market. Now they have released the AMD Phenom II X6 1100T and FX-8120. Though they have same price i would like to know about their performance differences, can you people suggest me anything on it?

I don’t like AMD range of processors because they doesn’t provide good processing qualities like we get from Intel processors .If you are going to buy whole set then you can opt for AMD systems or else if you just want a processor then go for Intel processors. I am getting the AMD phenom 2 for my next upgrade.

There have been cases when processor from Intel or AMD have needed a separate motherboard due to specific socket differences. Intel was using 775 for long time but AMD used lots of other sockets in time. it used 754 when they launched Athlon 64 bit. Before it they were using socket 939. This has happened with both of the manufacturers and we can’t help it. They make research and if they think it is worth then they launch it with their product.
