i hav dell inspiron with 2gb ram. core 2 duo processor. i want to upgrade my ram to 4gb. i have bought a transcend 4 gb ram. now how to install that 4 gb ram? plz dont suggest go to costomer support center, bcoz there isnt any nearby. also i dont trust local tech experts. plz tell me complete process on how to do it step by step.

Well, can you first of all tell us what is the model number of the dell inspiron that you have? What type of ram have you purchased, is it ddr2 ram or ddr3 ram because both are different and fit accordingly as per the slot assigned to it.
