Cannot set 1066MHZ frequency for Kingston HyperX ddr2 on Biostar Tpower 145

I cannot seem to get my ram to speed when I install all 4 sticks in this motherboard. "Kit" for each dual channel works very well in 1066, but the 4 seems to invade the driver or something. Anybody have any knowledge with this? I'm thinking about memory voltage controller or something, nevertheless I'm kind of new-fangled to OCing.

I will learn some more and observe what I can do on my own. Biostar wants me to RMA the board, but I imagine that is the 'stock answer', and I have no purpose of doing that.

What happens when the frequency of DRAM> 851MHz. First mix fails, Memtest86 + no, BSODs, etc? Manually change the DDR voltage and four times of primary DRAM (TCL, PRT, and tRAS tRCD) to match the grade SPD / EPP DDR2-1066 data. Also automatically modify the chipset voltage 0.1 - 0.2 V .VNB by evasion in the P45 is 1.1V, so up to 1.2 - 1.3V w / 4 sticks installed.

An 851MHz everything is fine. Memtest no errors, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit is as happy as a clam (which is where he is now). Car ramps DDR voltage to 2.3V, but 1.1V stays VNB. When I manually to 2.2v DDR, 5-5-5-15 times, VNB to 1.288v (+ 0.2) and set DDR 1066, I have 10,000 in 5 seconds in Memtest. Do not bother to start, for the reason that I'm tired of waiting for the RAID to check / repair. Maybe I should RMA the board?

With all the DDR voltage to 2.3 V, and voltage of 0.2 V chipset, change the CAS (TCL), 5-6, and tRAS to 18; 6-5-5-18 (all times in subsection except tRFC Auto, set to 54), then re-run Memtest.

Memtest does not even begin to 1066, but I stepped back to 886 and all is well! This is faster than I was able to get!

I think the DDR speed increase is requiring me to reduce some time so the mb can catch up? (Hell, I do not know what I'm saying, just a guess). Do you have any advice when theories that will help me improve on this?

I am also having the same trouble. Nevertheless with only two sticks of memory. 1066 windows 7 starts, but hangs during boot correct causing me to reset. And merely work at 851 MHz similar to the OP MOBO. nevertheless with a processor Q6700.What could it be?

That would be much better to start your own thread with a full breakdown of your system. Most people do not read all the way through a thread form of age last year to find a new job. Plus it will have all the specifications of your system and CPU-z screenie as mentioned in the posts above. Good luck.
