Corsair CM2X2048-8500C5D is about die, advice needed.

In the last about 2 years, my CM2X2048-8500C5D RAM has been working quite well. However, recently I found some problems after isolating each system in my PC, I have determined conclusively to be a RAM trouble.

My computer crashes when memory-intensive applications like games have been implemented. The computer simply refuses to respond when this occurs. I have to cold start. I did a test with MemTest 86 4.2 and the second computer 26 in the test completely freeze, forcing a reset. The timer also congested working. I gave him three minutes, nevertheless after reset.

To compound my troubles, I have no spare memory, so if I were to RMA, I would be without a desktop computer. I need my desk to be fully functional for the subsequently couple of weeks. What should I do?

Test one stick at a time in the identical slot to make convinced it is a memory card trouble and not a trouble of the slot. Also, I'm presumptuous you have TWIN2X4096-8500C5D .If so, make use of the digit intended for the RMA.

When you get the RMA number, request an RMA advanced customer service. That means a hold on its new CC for memory and sends it to you first. After exchanging the memory and sent back to the old, releasing the hold.

Just get them tested. Both suits do not memtest 86 +, the first in 2:32 and 3:56 of the second, both in test 4.I'm not sure what the significance of this is.

As a result, you may be right. I managed (after much to ask) to make a friend of mine lend me your sticks of RAM. I met with Starcraft 2 and the game crashed as well.

I think it's a GPU difficulty now. I ordered a new GPU. I was hoping that my 4890 would have lasted long enough for the launch of the ATI 7000 and Nvidia 600 series, but that's not going to happen. You have to be here in a few days - MSI 560Ti Hawk.

My RMA was conventional only. I do not desire to cancel yet, but I would similar to to freeze the RMA.Even if it twist out to be a RAM trouble, I would like to thank together Corsair and present to do the right thing.

RMA is valid for 60 to 90 days so that their agreement is only working with this and the RMA can be expected.

    Three failed tests:
    MSI Kombustor
    Intel test video recording
    Memtest 86 +

None of my components are overclocked, with the exception of RAM @ 1066 MHz The symptoms are the same - the system hangs there. No BSOD or anything and had to be reset

If you're not all the ram is memtest would propose some other matter. It seems that might be the CPU or MB. Even though I'm leaning towards the MB memory controller. The probability of the two sticks are not at the same time are approximately nil. We also tested the configuration of values without the OC

You said you borrowed RAM friends; you can test the RAM in your machine with Memtest to rule out the memory?

If I can avoid it, do not want to cost money Corsair for a problem that cannot be related to RAM. I am thinking.

The thing is that I was thinking of upgrading when the bulldozers came out. I was hoping to get a FX-8150p, a focus of V, and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. I've already ordered a mounting bracket in my refrigerator is not compatible with the AM3 +.

I'm going to my computer store and see if I can get all those things and see if they have something to use, really low end AMD processor that fits the socket. It is not an ideal situation, but only for maybe 2 months, until the bulldozers are widely available.

The alternative is to get a Z68 card, a i7 and DDR3 2600K few. My best choices are the Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z, or P8Z68 PRO-V.

These modules are made and tested on an Intel platform; nevertheless they will work on any platform supporting DDR3 DDR1600. In addition, the present support AMD Phenom CPU DDR1333. Nevertheless they will work with an AMD system, although you must configure the settings manually and can be limited to DDR1066 or DDR1333 depending on the CPU you use.

Cancel RMA please. I decided to buy an i7 2600K Intel and Asus P8P67 Evo. Once again, I'd like for all your help.
