The system was well with my getting on Pentium D 820, only when I switched to Core 2 Quad 8300, I in progress having troubles.

I want to talk with the Creator of MB in this case and you may also want to check the latest version of the BIOS and would like to reset the BIOS and default configuration and start charging also be sure to disable USB Legacy when memtest is running.

I will attempt to this in the morning and I have to talk to a higher level of support that is there only certain times of day it seems.

I have the latest BIOS and I reset to a multitude of times. Would it be probable to obtain an applicable list of inferior timings to contract with my configuration?

I just setup and load BIOS default settings and position the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory voltage to 2.0 volts to run into troubles, nevertheless we can effort replacing the modules if you like simply to have to dig out of the equation.

I had 8 GB of RAM Corsair. Core2 Quad running with in view of the fact that March 2011 (that is running on the Pentium D for a year and a half previous to devoid of any dilemma - March 2010). I newly distorted the Corsair RAM (in the QVL) to try to resolve this trouble (for Intel / Asus recommendation). I also distorted the graphics card and CPU, but the trouble persisted.

I'm showing the same symptoms with the Corsair, only faster. I suppose the reason for this is that the speed of the RAM is slower (they were from 8500 to 6.400), which takes less time? The other PC would crash every 48 hours. With the Corsair stick around long enough to log on and run VirtualBox to kill it.

I am also facing similar trouble .I lowered the FSB 800Mhz CPU and was able to throw almost everything I wanted (VirtualBox, Eclipse, browser, etc.) and stayed up all night with no problem (8:30 pm to 10pm). However, the CPU is running@1.5Ghz (2.5GHz). The system is running the virtual machine without any problem and the CPU does not exceed 100%. Therefore, in theory, I'm "good".

Before coming to lower the CPU FSB to 800 MHz, which had 2.0 V voltages for the RAM and had condensed the speed of 667 MHz memory. Nevertheless, not stay long sufficient to do something creative. I tried different time settings, Still nothing. NB Even augmented to 1.3V at some point, with no accomplishment.

I cannot imagine of a non-technical person doing something good, by adding 8 GB of RAM for your system, and having to play with the BIOS to work. I'm thinking of upgrading to DDR3 system memory, with the hope that with tons of RAM will not make me jump through hoops like this. Is this the case? The build I'm looking at would be 8 GB of RAM QVL @ 1600 (hence should be fine @ 1333)?

I'll contact Asus for the last time and see what they say. I be able to run this memory through Memtest and in acquire in touch with corsair support team.

Sorry, but please test the modules at a time with them out of memtest or try on another system would be the most excellent way to test this trying to debug a unsuccessful system or MB and can be erratic.
