Hyper TX3 cooler for Athlon II X4

I have a computer at home. I have Athlon II x4 640 CPU which is paired with stock cooler. Actually the problem I am having is that, the noise and the temperature that is coming is not suiting me. So I was thinking of having a CM Hyper TX3 cooler. I want to know that will this cooler perform better than the stock cooler. Should I buy this CM Hyper TX3 cooler? Will it be better in both thermal and acoustical fronts? I would like to mention that I have a good case and ventilation. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Well I would say that it is ok if you are having some noise or temperature issues. Try not to put much load on the cpu. As you have mentioned that you want to go for CM Hyper TX3 cooler, then I would say that you can go but there won’t be much improvement after doing that. Definitely there will be some change. I would suggest you to go for Dark Rock Advance or a Thermaltake Frio cooler. I am sure that if you go for any one of them it would be better than the cm hyper tx3 as it would be much quit and cool

Well let me tell that I have used Phenom II cooler. It is certainly the loudest fan. The stock fan on my Phenom II 940 is the loudest fan between 4 computers I own. It simply obtain loud though in heavy load at what time I have it overclocked to 3.5Ghz which is at minor speeds or light loads it is nearly silent.

Well as you have said that you have good case and ventilation then try some other cooler for your cpu. There are many cooler available for your cpu. I would say that go to any computer shop near your place and find one. Ask the expert to guide you on this and recommend you the best cooler.
