Intel Core i5-2500K VS AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE

I am stuck between two choices of buying a processor. What should I go for. AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE or Intel Core i5-2500K. Both looks fine but I need a gaming system in which I can play games at full resolution on dual monitor. I had already decided the graphic card. All I want to choose is the right processor that can provide me good output.

If you need something for video game then go for amd. On that you can get the best graphic output. While Intel is best for processing stuff. Like video editing, archiving, etc. AMD is quiet nice when it comes to graphics. With a nice gpu you can get the maximum resolution and a lag free performance. Also put ample of ram so that your system does not fall short from any angle. Adding around 8GB is quiet good.

I think Intel Core i5 would be better if you want something for long run. My friend has a system. He has around 16GB of ram with Nvidia 650Ti gpu and 3TB hard drive. The system performance is amazing. I had played games on this a number of time. The system does not freeze from any angle. I had not used amd before due to which I cannot recommend you this one.
