computer freezing while using corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 with Asus P8P67

I have recently upgraded my computer with Asus P8P67 motherboard and CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB dual channel memory kit and after doing this my computer has started giving some problem. When I start the computer after some time I am experiencing random freezing in my computer. please tell me what should I do to solve this problem. Is there any one experiencing the same problem and have solution for it then please let me know.

According to me you are facing this problem with your CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB dual channel memory kit because any of one RAM stick in your computer having some issues and that is why I will suggest you to check you r computer by starting your computer by connecting any one RAM and after that check whether same problem is coming or not. if you get the this problem with any one RAM then I think there might be something wrong with any one RAM stick.

If you are still not able to detect the exact problem with your CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB dual channel memory kit then I thinks you should check your RAM by running memtest86 in your computer. after running the memtest86 you have to see the result if it fails in any of the test then there is problem with your CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB dual channel memory and if it does not give any error then I think you need to change the memory MHZ setting from the BIOS.

I was also using the CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB dual channel memory kit with my computer and also having the same problem with my computer and after that I have tried to solve this issue by changing the RAM MHZ from 1066 to 1333MHZ and after doing this change my problem gets solved and I will suggest you to try the same solution and your problem will get solved easily.

Thank you so much for giving me quick replies. After referring your above post I have tried to solve this issue by running the memtest86 in my computer and after running the memtest86 in my computer I didn’t get any issue. Now after that I have also tried to solve this issue by changing the RAM MHZ from BIOS setting and after changing the RAM MHZ from 1066 to 1333 when I restart the computer at that time also I get the same problem with my computer.

It looks like your computer BIOS needs to be upgraded and after upgrading the BIOS in your computer you will be able to solve this issue. First you have to download the BIOS update file from the internet and after that you have to burn the bootable CD of it and after that you have to update your BIOS with the help of that bootable CD and after that your computer will not freeze randomly.

Updating the BIOS version in my computer done the trick and It has solved the issue in my computer. After reading your above solution I have download the BIOS update file for my mother board and after downloading that I have burn the Bootable CD and then updated my BIOS. Now after updating the BIOS my computer is not freezing and it is working absolutely fine.
