difference between Intel Pentium B940 and AMD E-350

Please help as I am quite confused between Intel Pentium B940 and AMD E-350. I want to decide among two similarly configured laptops having two processors such as Intel Pentium B940 Dual core 2.0 GHz and AMD E-350 Dual core 1.6 GHz. My questions are is AMD E-350 in the database? Which would be the most powerful processor for my new laptop among the two? Any other better option?

First of all I would like to let you know that the Passmark Benchmark database shows Intel Pentium B940 Dual core 2.0 GHz processor to have 1978 CPU mark and the Passmark site's Benchmark database shows AMD E-350 Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor to have 732 CPU mark. According to me Intel Pentium B940 would me much faster and powerful than AMD E-350. So my vote is for Intel Pentium B940 processor.

As per I have concerned Intel Pentium B940 Dual core 2.0 GHz processor is much weaker in graphics and battery life. While, the AMD E-350 Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor has better graphics performance and battery life than the Intel B940. If you are not interested in computer games but in speed then you can prefer Intel Pentium B940. Hope this small advice help you with your decision. If you are interested in multitasking scenario then you can rely on as Intel Pentium B940 Dual core 2.0 GHz processor. Whit the help of this processor you can utilize 100% CPU but drains your battery. Intel Pentium B940 Dual core 2.0 GHz processor and AMD E-350 Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor both are not in the same market segment. The Intel Pentium is in entry level while the E350 is a ULV.
