Need to know the Intel GL40 Chipset CPU compatibility?

Anyone who knows much about the compatibility of the GL-40 CPU? If I keep the G50-104NR I wondered what could support CPUs. GL-40, at least in theory, only supports FSB 667 chips, which leads me to believe that the T5850 at 2.16 GHz and 2 MB of L2 is the fastest chip that can run on it, assuming the BIOS has a MSR for that chip. I read a lot of issues they say many of the largest budget chipsets can be at least a FSB of "degree" higher than they were designed for. Anyone have any idea if this is true, GL40, or how I can check the BIOS to see what the ID of the CPU is in it.

In fact, a user with a GL40 notebook, a (NBR) on the Penryn refresh C2D (T9400 I think), tried to install, and it did not boot. Their notebooks with other GM/PM45 notebook which supported the new Penryns shared the same BIOS. Who was there with certain GL960 chipset, and a hardware lock on GL40, not added to support the higher FSB CPUs. I hope that you are getting me and also will help you to get rid of the problem.

I have sold really well, and right out of the laptop I was originally deployed cheat, but a support CQ T3200, the T3400 should be a possibly. And I really din faced any such problem while doing the same I am sure that there must be something mistaken with the process of yours and that is the reason why you are unable to make up with the compatibility so just now do one thing just do the same procedure again and also with the perfect manner. I hope that you will not face any other issues related to it.

Chipset, the only issue that may arise if the BIOS does not recognize the chip books. Notebook, and / or the model of board model (can be found out or SiSoft Sandra, Everest or CPUZ sometimes often) will help. And support the best chance you should update the latest BIOS. There is a huge upgrade. Should be a 35w TDP T3400, T5850 I'm analyzing what the dissimilarity or insignificant will be a 34W chip. Both of these chips out of the box is only slightly more Celeron are seeking to 31W.

Nice, I thought about a GL40 notebook T3400 will be an easy upgrade. I still see nyry30 T5850 upgrade works or otherwise be interested. Perhaps a step too heavily on T3400 but found the price was great for her brother. Do you do any other upgrades and if there are any then please let me know the same because I am also willing to get the same on the system of mine since I want the system to run perfectly.
