i5 vs AMD Phenom x4 955 also IGP Mobo vs Budget Graphic Card

Hi,
I have to buy a new PC for Work (3d modeling, CAD, some renders etc) and leisure use (Games, Movies etc)
Wanted to get a few opinions of different options I have.

one Option is:
i5, any motherboard, and an budget graphic card (NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT or 9500GT), 4 GB RAM

the other option is:
AMD Phenom x4 955, Motherboard with Intergated Graphic Processor (probaby, nVidia), 8GB RAM which will be shared with the Graphic Processor

CoolerMaster cabins for both options, have all the other things like HD and Disc Drives From my old PC

So my Budget works out to around 20K - 23K

Any Suggestions are welcome also any new developments I need to know (am not THAT upto date now-a-days).

The AMD platform would be much cheaper of course. It depends on your budget. However, from what I read, the 2.66Ghz I5 out performs a 3.4Ghz Phenom II in most tasks while consuming less power. It'll destroy the Phenom II when overclocked. So it usually depends on investing more so that you will be able to achieve more processing powers.
