    Update BIOS for CPU performance

Currently I used a Gigabyte GA MA78LMT-US2H Ver. 1.1 motherboard and there is nothing problem in this mobo. This system contains the Athlon II X2 250 C3 Model processor with Bios version F1. See, I read somewhere that the AMD Athlon II X2 250 C3 Model processor support the F1 version of the BIOS. Currently, there is no issue in the system but I want better performance so, I decided to upgrade the BIOS of the system. Then my questions is should I upgrade my BIOS to make system better? I would appreciate any suggestions or personal experience that may resolve this problem.

As per my thinking updating BIOS is very risky task of the system and sometimes if it goes failure then it makes so much issue in the system. I recommended you to test the specification of your motherboard and BIOS itself. This will be helps you to understand that the update BIOS process suitable to system or not. As per you mentioning you use Gigabyte mobo and I also read that the BIOS f3 version suitable to this system.

Updating BIOS is to be supports the overclocking problem and hence I suggest you to do this task. This will be helps to increase the speed of the system. This update BIOS will also help to increase the CPU speed and its performance. After doing this update BIOS operation the booting process of the system is to be fast as compared to the previous. The BIOS version f3 will be suitable to the Athlon II X2 250 C3 Model processor and there is nothing compatibility issues like that.
