    Ubuntu for ARM Processors

I hope that most of you who are familiar with the tech world must know about the ARM processors and its usage. Basically this processor is used in some tablet PC or pads and even in some smart phones, PDAs I think (I am not sure though). However this processor is not able to run all the operating systems on it but specially modified and some latest operating systems are capable to run on it. However what I want to know is about the Ubuntu, a Linux distribution. Do you think that is there any project to make the Ubuntu to run on ARM CPUs?

ARMbuntu is an effort to place Ubuntu Linux on the ARM processor. ARMbuntu was formed by transformation of Ubuntu source stuffs underneath Debian/ARM, which was operating inside a QEMU virtual machine, putting patches wherever necessary. At this peak in moment, each and every one of the packages required for completely a negligible Ubuntu/dapper installation have been made, since have those packages assumed to be build-crucial. There's no kernel up till now, therefore if you be set to to boot this, you must drag a kernel from anywhere besides, for example Debian/ARM.

That will be tremendous to notice maybe the Motorola Xoom turned into running Linux Ubuntu operating system. Not that I'm thumping Android, except I've noticed many tablets that have a docking station for a keyboard to create them turn out to be netbooks additionally and such a idea would build it even easier to transport your distribution by you and synchronize up by your additional devices (similar to the Ubuntu One store available on the desktop otherwise whatnot)

QEMU is recognized like a free substitute for VMware, letting users to run a computer within a computer. What isn't consequently famous regarding QEMU is that, besides to imitating x86 architectures, it can follow AMD64, Sparc, MIPS, PPC in addition to ARM processors. As seen by the end of ARM architecture, QEMU offers an expedient, if sluggish, setting inside which development can be made for the support of embedded systems. On that other hand QEMU's arm emulator does not have any capability to emulate whichever the IDE or else SCSI disks,
