K9VGM-V plus AD5200OCK22GM compatible CPU?

Hey friends, I hope anyone will surely help me, I am planning to buy below configuration please read it

• AMD Athlon X2 5200 processor
• AM3 AD5200OCK22GM CPU
• K9VGM-V plus motherboard

I have almost planned to take this configuration but the problem is I am confused in CPU which has to be taken, I am not finding proper solution, so can anyone help. Reply.

Hey I have seen your post, I was keep on laughing after reading your post. Because my friend I think you were joking when you wrote this post, I am sorry, but you cannot insert AM3 CPU in AM2 board. If you will try 100 times it will not work, because the configuration which you have given is not matching with AM3. If you get success in assembling it into motherboard then too it won’t work. If you want you can buy ADA/ADO5200, it will work in AM3. If you have not made an order for it then you try this it will work even you will get good efficiency.

Hello, I wanted to suggest you one more thing, I know that MSI is good company but don’t be fooled by K9 series of motherboard. They says that this series support AM3 but it is not true, actually as per my knowledge K9 series of motherboards are made up of K8 chipset, which does not support AM3, it only Supports AM2. If you want you can also try with AMD Athlon 64 5000+ processor, it extremely good for AM3 support, just try it or check on internet with above combination, you will come to know what you have to do. It will work for you

Hey thanks friend, I was searching for best combination in this series, you idea worked for me, there I got another new combination I just wanted to ask you about that only, can you tell me how AMD Athlon Neo6850e and ADJ6850IAA5? Will work? According to you will it give good efficiency for MSI motherboard, are they compatible with AM3. I didn’t find anything related to CPU, so can you help me out for CPU support list, I’ll be thank full of you if you help me. Thanks a lot.
