Does CM Hyper 212+ works good with i7-2600K

I am looking for some change. I am going to change the out dated and out of stock HS+Fan on the i7-22600k.And I am looking forward to change it to the CM Hyper 212+.I have learn a lot of good things about it and I am looking at it as a replacement. So is it a right move? Or should I avoid it. Also is it worthy to get a new one in accordance with the cost. Please reply to this query as I am eagerly waiting for the answers. So if any one has any suggestion please do revert to this problem.

I think that you should go for it. It would be worthy enough to go for it. It’s a very good cooler and a capable one. But also keep in mind that if you are not going to go for it then try for something like the 5GHZ and then I think that it would be more than enough for the 4.5Hz over clock. Even I have this same cooler on my 2600k. And it gives about 100% load and gives the temperature at around 57 degrees at which I am happy.

I just want to know that if it’s an improvement over the freezer 64 pro which I possess now. My 955 is running at 4.7 GHZ with 1.4v core is running at around 45-50.But I feel that it should get lower than that. So that is why I wanted to know that is it fine if I go with CM Hyper 212+. But probably I’ll go for the same thing. And I hope that it will work alright for me. But even though after this if you have another solution then I please tell me.

I feel that it’s a great cooler that works very well with i7-2600K. Also if you look at it then it’s very impossible to beat the price as well. There are better heat sinks also available but the Sandy Bridge CPU doesn’t generate that much heat. So I feel that it should be perfectly suitable for a nice 4.8 GHz over clock. But rather than going for any other cooler the CM Hyper 212+ is amazing. I would suggest you to go for it hands down and don’t worry a bit for it.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. Looking at the solutions I think that I should go forward with the CM Hyper 212+ without any problem. I had a look at some other coolers too and I feel that this is the right choice. I compared them and also checked the prices of it. So now I feel very happy that I can go for the CM Hyper 212+ without any problem. So I would like to once again thank you for the solutions that you provided and like to appreciate you for it.
