Benchmark low on the new Athlon X2 6400+ cpu

The first experiments with overload-xp athlon 64 X2 6400 + (3.2 GHz) did not provide any special update. The use of cooling air, the processor was overclocked to 3.3 GHz 3.5 GHz was possible through the use of cooling water. i got this new one on my system. Overclocking with the power of fresh air to most any Athlon 64 X2 6400 + (3.2 GHz) owner is more interesting. At the frequency of 3.57 GHz, the process preserves the ability to pass tests. the benchmarks were low on this. i think i got a costly cpu!

Now there is no doubt that the Athlon 64 X2 6400 + (3.2 GHz) with black box will be released on Monday. The task of this processor is very simple: to attract the attention of users until the announcement of the phenomenon of generation of processors, while trying to compete with Intel Core We should note that Athlon 64 X2 6400 + (3.2 GHz) is more advantageous compared to the Athlon 64 X2 6000 + (3.0 GHz), memory frequency divider in The first case works in the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration 2-800, and the second - only 2-750 in the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration. In whole, just speed system memory allows the Athlon 64 X2 6400 + to look pretty well against the Core 2 Duo processors in the synthetic tests, however, in real applications that can be won only by several percentages Core 2 Duo e6750 (2.66 GHz) and this only in the small circle of tasks. In games, the new AMD loses by 10 -15% of the processor core 2 Duo e6750.

re: Benchmark low on the new Athlon X2 6400+ cpu

I have observed that the price of 220-240 dollars, the Athlon 64 X2 processor 6400 + can not make up competition Core 2 Duo e6750 ($ 183), his position is on a Core 2 Duo e6850 ($265). With baseload 2 Duo e6850 (3.0 GHz), the temperature reached 47 degrees Celsius, and Athlon 64 X2 6400 + (3.2 GHz), the temperature was 54 degrees Celsius. The energy level consumption in this case reaches 145W for AMD based processor, and 118 W for the intel processor. In our opinion, this processor will be a success if the price is reduced to the category of under $199.

The tray prices are hardly an accurate measure of prices at this time. At the time of posting this the E6750 is $ 211.99, a far cry from the $ 183 tray price. The E6850 is $ 329.99 , which is even further from the tray price of $ 266. The X2 6000 is $ 169.99, which is below the tray price $ 178. I also hope that the X2 6400 will also be less than the price of the tray. This will cause the price of 6400 VERY close to that of the E6750 real price (ie, the real price is for one to). To me it seems then that this new chip is priced exactly where be.

AMD officially set the selling price as a whole for this processor ($ 251 in 1000 parts of the games.). So it's nice to hear that finally some good news from the AMD camp. dous this processor is still not the market itself, but on the margin should be good enough to give AMD a bit of money so they can continue there i hope. Until the new generation of CPU's to be expected amd continue to carry out some chips faster athlon X2. EE least 6000 + version is not bad price for performance.

The downside is that LGA 1156 and LGA 1155 are not compatible with each other, thus losing any possibility of reusability. Sandy Bridge is the code name for the new family of Intel processors, including low-end, medium and high, and all three use the same socket, the same plates and principle also the same chipsets: Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 may be used in any motherboard with LGA 1155, regardless of the specific models. You can try and see if intel gives you any information about this.
