Based on what processor you are improved with. I am familiar with that EVGA's 750i does not support Core 2 Quads in the 9000 series. No thought on ASUS. You know, the nForce 7 boards have been EOL for quite a few times now. P55 is about to do the similar in a month or two. If you are upgrading a major system, you are superior putting towards your wealth towards a good P55 setup or an imminent Sandy Bridge mainstream rig.

If you are acquiring the board for cheap and previously have the remaining of the socket 775 hardware; that is, RAM, and CPU, after that my recommendation is the following. The EVGA 750i is providing a few folks troubles with a few 8 and 9 series processors. As well, EVGA states that the SPP voltage alteration was immobilized in one of their BIOS releases because the board is not destined for heavy Overclocking, and by immobilizing that feature, it will keep the board from being injured, but that as well means Overclocking will be limited.

Evga however determined to make a novel somewhat cheaper main board different to 780/790, intended it l33t, sexy up till now present two or possibly three features below these sub 300 USD complements. They named their novel baby the Evga nForce 750 FTW. Where FTW accurately means "For The Win". Now if you send a creation with "FTW" in the definite name then as a company you require having a few quite big balls, as any reviewer will test until they pale to observe if that product lives up-to the standing. You are familiar with what; they require balls as large as an NVIDIA colored bull.

Asus is getting orders on its most recent high-end and mean priced performance computer motherboards, the Rampage Formula and P5N-D. These boards relocate the Maximus technique and P5N-E by putting novel features. Utilizing the upscale X48 chipset, the Rampage technique is presently sacred by Intel with a chipset which formally supports FSB-1600. The X48 receives extra justification testing from Intel contrasted to the X38, and signifies its top-binned parts utilizing the similar technology. The P5N-D utilizes NVidia’s revised 750i chipset to present complete support for the most recent 50 nm cores at bus speeds up to FSB-1334.
