    EVGA GTX 570 89 ° C and very loud

After the anticipation, now unfortunately the problem. I posted it already in the EVGA forum, but since now everyone is asleep. My newly installed EVGA GTX 570 overclocked gives me problems. After 10 minutes benchmark, it is at 89 ° C. The volume of the fan drowns out everything. I measured the hot air at the back of my cabinet and is 67 ° C. In GTA4 EFLC I come to 86 ° C and 64% fan. Only 43 FPS at 1920x1200. It gave me a bios update from EVGA recommended for the fans. However, I fear problems return to the dealer, they might adopt it.
Did I expect too much and are the normal values? What do you think?

86-89 ° C could get there. Because even i have measured the temprature with Crysis in another system without OverClock and is 83 ° C. Also, the fans turn up, because they are not without measured 57 db. The EVGA has nothing but a poor radial fan so everything fits. Must be , If it bothers you, then buy a GTX 570 with better cooling concept - or wait until they are outside. Here i would suggest you to leave all as it is.

Do not understand why my 480 roars like a jet fighter and is unbearable.

Sounds perfectly normal to what are you telling.

The Throttle temprature of the card is the way, just over 100 °. I do not know why you so worried if
    a) The card does not Throttle appear .
    b) No graphics error

In addition, your fan has still room for improvement. Do with the MSI Afterburner own fan profile, so that sometimes goes right to 100% over 80 ° when it is too hot you :-)

Only the card was really cool, but now it is a disappointment. Own fault if you look at a model obtained in the reference design because you can not wait for custom designs. This was not clear to me that since my GTX 260, which is really very quiet and only 82 ° C is hot, the development at the cost of heat and noise. My back half a year passed before POV GTX 470 seemed to me to be quiet.

So I have now been played by the BIOS Update (70.10.17.00.70 -> 70.10.17.00.73) Have been made restart and then reinstalled drivers, as described there. Score: 86 degrees at 2600rpm and about Furmark (65%). But what should also change, eventually doing so you can now use only the fan between 30% and 100% and 40% to 85%. This means we will probably create their own profile with EVGA Precision so that we are not too loud. So I have now times on normal cycle of the clocked 570 and makes the 65% and 86 Grad again. I place the box on 100% (unbearably loud) goes down the temperature to 60 degrees. Up to 60% of the volume is noticeable but not disturbing, sometimes to test how high the temperature goes here.
