    Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P reports wrong vDIMM

I just place together a PC including an MA770T-UD3P, a pair of Crucial 2GB DDR3-1333 sticks, fraction no CT2KIT25664BA1339 and a Phenom II X2 550. While I seem at the computer Health Status page the vDIMM is 1.616v. Everest is saying that the vDIMM is 1.63v. I am utilizing the most recent F3 BIOS and every value is on auto. The DRAM voltage control in the BIOS begins just from 1.605v, but the manual says it should begin from 1.505v. Can someone please tell me how do I obtain the vDIMM back down to 1.505v as I want to run at stock?

Check with Crucial on the memory's necessities. Few DIMMs are intended to run at superior voltages; my personal Corsair 1600 MHz sticks require 1.9 V at that speed or 1.7 V at 1333 MHz. I think a few sticks talk back to the board and put the least voltage to outfit their necessities. It is relatively probable your sticks wish a smallest of 1.7 V and the BIOS is making certain it gets the voltage it needs.

I will add to this thread as I have alike trouble. Similar motherboard, BIOS F2, unlocked Phenom II x3 720BE, 4 GB OCZ Intel XMP 1600. Now, my trouble, even with earlier RAM, is that BIOS and every monitoring programs report vDIMM voltage ~0.2v upper than put in BIOS. I have no idea why as other voltages are about precise. I think that the reported voltage is incorrect as RAM did not boot with allegedly precise voltage. Any thoughts why it is showing values this much advanced? At present it is set to 1.660 and reported as 1.780 defective voltage sensors.

Occasionally these types of problems are dealt with by an update to BIOS. The most recent version for your Motherboard is F11C so it may be that the voltage coverage problems have been addressed in one of the updates comes out since the F2. I would recommend that you attempt flashing BIOS with a most recent version. As you are just at F2 I would not advise jumping directly to the F11C BIOS but would recommend that you renew your BIOS in numerous small steps F2 to F5 after that F5 to F8 after that F8 to F10 this is not necessary but is a safer technique.
