SMART hard drive status monitoring for GA-X58A-UD5

This is for the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 motherboard which has 3 SATA controllers: Intel, Marvell, and Gigabyte.I have a query regarding the SATA controller. I have 2 drives in RAID 1 connected to the SATA controller. The Operating System is Windows 7 64 bit. I need to monitor health of my drives look at SMART error counts etc?The Gigabyte Raid Configure (version 1.17.59) shows the drives but do not have any place to display smart errors. How do I look at the health of my drives? If you have any idea regarding to this issue please let me know. Thank you in advance.

I do not notify I am any sort of specialist in this field however I consider that SMART was not compatible with RAID arrays. I am not sure about this if it is incorrect please someone correct me. I think that you can monitor SMART hard drive status by means of Active Directory or by means of SpiceWorks to know earlier than a potential hard drive breakdown.

Thanks for your reply, If I am not incorrect the I do not think spiceworks can inform you at what time your hard disk is going to stop working. Then how would I track the health of the two drives attached to the Gigabyte controller? If anybody else have any idea to resolve this issue please let me know. Your suggestion would be appreciated.Thank you once again.

DriveSitter uses a technology known as SMART - for Monitoring as well as Reporting Technology - present in each and every one recent hard drives. These drives monitor their individual state as well as performance, and inform the results to any program that inquire. The most significant health pointer is the drive temperature - too hot plus failure is likely - so DriveSitter be able to show a temperature icon for every drive in your computer desktop tray, if you desire one.

Thanks for your suggestions. As you have mentioned the features and benefits I will get from both of this software (Hard drive monitor and DriveSitter). But my trouble is that weather any of this software is compatible with my motherboard as I was making use of SMART but it seems not to be compatible with it. So if you have any idea about it please let me know.
