The end of the year 2010 is approaching and AMD shall once again: With the Phenom Black Edition II X6 1100T manufacturer of the previously fastest processor of its own onto the market. With a base clock of 3.3 GHz, the six cores are working as fast as in no other model from before, the turbo can also ensure that a maximum of three cores operate with saturated 3.7 GHz. Thus, AMD wants to fight the expected in about a month upgrade "Sandy Bridge" CPUs from Intel.

If the Intel Core i7 rulers, AMD still managed to get a place above the 200 euros in 2010 with the introduction of its Phenom II X6. The contribution of two additional cores does not correct all defects in the aging architecture of the Phenom II, but has allowed the ex-founder of Sunnyvale to give a facelift to its range. The new Phenom II X6 1100T today provides 100 MHz more than its predecessor, the 1090T. This is known as a speed-bump, a slight increase in frequency. This, however, comes an overhaul tariff, which gives us the opportunity to see for one last time in 2010, which bring these chips.

The Phenom II X6 is not easy to see through, so many pages of the Phenom II X6 1100T advance praising at 3.4 GHz. The naming scheme is based on the principle remains the smaller models, the Turbo mode and type rash. For example, the 1055T is working at 2.8 GHz and three cores can accelerate up to 500 MHz. The 1075T is at 3 GHz, with the same turbo-Plus and receive a rating that is higher by 20 (10 per 100 MHz). Also good to observe the expected 1045T and 1065T at 2.7 GHz to 2.9 GHz (200 MHz more give 2 x 10 points more in the rating).

Re: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T with six core processor

The concept of the X6 models of AMD is simple and reads: More power through more cores. If the software can run multiple threads in parallel, or run many programs simultaneously, six seeds of advantage. In addition, the Phenom Black Edition II X6 1100T with 3.30 GHz clock speed a decent, even if Intel's current processors throw more computing power per MHz. If a program, however, utilize a portion of the core, a higher clock rate would be desirable. AMD has implemented this turbo CORE, which allows the use of three cores, raising the clock rate up to 3.70 GHz. In order to operate the processor at this high clock speed stably, the voltage is raised.

If you thought that the new models recently launched AMD would be the last to launch this year, not, as the company prepares new top of line for its family of Phenom X4 processors (Deneb) and X6 (Thuban) to deal in good way this Christmas and will release 3 new models: the Phenom II X6 1100T (3.30Ghz) to be the model's six-core Phenom faster and II X6 1065T (2.90Ghz) to be the model of six cores better performance in the range of 95W, AMD will also launch additional quad-core more powerful Phenom X4 to 975 that have a rate of no less than 3.60GHz.
