My current system consists of the motherboard: GA-MA78G-DS3H (Rev.1.0) (F9E BIOS) and an Athlon 64 X2 6000 + (125W) CPU, since I currently the idea is to upgrade the CPU pushes the question to which I run the following CPUs in the future! according to CPU support list is indeed an upgrade to a Phenom X4 965 (125W/140W) and the Phenom II X6 1055T (95W) nothing in the way. I want to ask two queries :
- would this board and a Phenom X4 970 according to my run of dates to the X4 965 only has a higher stroke frequency but otherwise identical to the X4 965, and brings me a performance benefit?
- what benefit would provide a Phenom X4 X6 1055T compared to the 965 or (if running) the X4 970?
Also which CPU would you advise me? I am having configuration:
GA-MA78G-DS3H (rev. 1.0)
Athlon 64 X2 6000 + (125W)
ADATA 8GB DDR2-1066
Gigabyte GeForce GTX460 OC
Intel ® X25-M G2 80 GB
2x Samsung F1 500GB S550
Windows7 Home Premium 64bit
A small question about my Gigabyte GeForce GTX460 OC (Bios F2), change with a BIOS update to F3 something about the fan control, because my GTX40 but a little too loud, or what are the advantages of a BIOS update to F3? Otherwise I have no problem with that is the Video Card. Thank you very much in advance and best regards!
