ASUS Disk Unlocker

Hello friends, recently I have heard about the ASUS disk Unlocker that will lock the hard disk only to allow some specific area to be filled. That is using the disk locker we can allow the hard disk to only have data to about some MB or GB, I would just want to know that how is this thing used like it comes directly on the hard disk or we have to buy it to use with the software.

Hey even I have heard about this and would want to ask you all that is this thing useful or not. Also, does it harm any of the functions of the hard disk. The reason behind why I am asking this is that the hard drive contains all our private data and if any harm is caused to it then it will be a major problem for all of us.
