Gigabyte EP45-UD3R, Problems in overclocking settings

I am purchased this board because of many positive points that I observed in it. For example, with the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3, you're sure to buy a motherboard that is both scalable, thanks to Intel P45 chipset, which allows support for all Intel Core and the current revision 2.0 of the PCI- Express 16x. Along with that Supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 feature solid capacitors this card has more excellent overclocking potential (functionality EasyTune 6). All these benefits come of course what makes a quality motherboard that is the presence of a 7.1 sound chip, 8-port S-ATA II and an RJ45 Gigabyte. This version includes the DES Advanced technology for Dynamic Energy Savers. The technology of dynamic management of the energy used to achieve real energy savings by dynamically managing the power of the processor. Thus this technology can reduce processor power consumption by 70% when the latter is little used. The main problem is that I am not able to overclock this mobo. I'm trying the new mobo in OC but I have a problem, ram 4x1gb corsair 1066 dominator rise to great if I leave 2 banks (limit 1250mhz) but with 4 banks do not pass even the 900! Anyone has any advice for me?

Have you tried to put the counters you have 1250 on the other two slots? Sometimes it is precisely the slot mb to have differences in "ability to overclocking". equal if they go instead, try the two ram slots on those left out that you have done to make the numbers. If they are unlikely to be the real problem, I will not say failed, but unfortunate. Or perhaps I found out why they give me so many problems. 2 banks have corsair dominator 8500 @ 1066 version 6.1 instead of 2 are version 4.1. I am also taking 1300MHz with 6.1 on all 4 slots. With 4.1 instead of 1150mhz.

No, certainly not for that ... The Dominator old version mount chip better than new ... I had taken with the Dominator 2x2GB 1336MHz 2.1 ! It is the motherboard: 4x1GB 1066MHz never fit on a card that has 1066 as the limit. It would be like to mount on a 4x1GB DDR3 2GHz 790th ... is the last thing to do in my opinion, if already you can keep them all at 4 to 1066 is a success, however, forget about overclocking. You may, however, groped the 800MHz CL4 4-3-3-10. Well, the g.skill are not bad, but certainly are dominator ram.

In particular, the first entries refer to the multiplier to 8.5 and let (the max you can put) then change the CPU Host Frequency (FSB), increasing as you wanted for safety and put the pci express to 101. For ram you have to set the system memory multiplier (SPD). I think you wrote in brackets the value of departure and in oc (check your motherboard manual or do a test and see what comes up cpu-z). Nanoxia for there is little to be done ... you have to use the software to control the CONNECTOR 4 pin cpu on the mobo ... but there's only one and then I think that Nanoxia have the 3-pin ... you have to fit in and do Manual or Nanoxia of the potentiometer, it should be included in the package right.

Hello, I recently received a revision 1.1 (equipped with a P45 chipset revision A3), it matters because it is the latest model!! My setup consists of an E0 Q9550, XFX GTX260 a + Black Edition and OCZ 4x1 GB PC8500 Reaper HPC Edition, the set operates on a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610. All bought right here. The overclocking is on the agenda, with 3995 MHz CPU (1,344 V) for the XFX 713/1458/2430 MHz and 564 (1128 real) RAM. Voltages are completely stable and reasonable, it goes hand in hand elsewhere It was my first since I practice GIGABYTE overclocking, I am very satisfied.
