    sad Ram detection problem

Hi iam having HP Pavilion Media Center a1320in Desktop PC.
    my motherboard specs..
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...23355&sw_lang=

i bought my pc on 2006. at dat time it was having 256mb ram(533mhz DDR2 sdram).
then i bought 512 mb from other vendor. so it became 768mb. and it was working fine.
then i bought 1 gb ram.
now the problem is wen i use 1gb ram with 512mb ram or 1gb with 256mb ram, my windows detects only 1 gb ram. not the other rams.
like it should show 1.5gb(1gb+512mb) or 1.2gb(1gb+256mb).

On my 1gb ram its written
    DNHMAU1GC6FER1 - A6
    1GB PC2 - 5300U - 555
    KOREA 0850

    On my 512 mb ram
    512M DDR2 533 DIMM 4-4-4
    17 10 19- 5863 RoHS[JU]

    On my 256mb ram
    256MB 1Rx16 PC2 - 4200U - 444 - 12
    HYMP532U64BP6 - C4 AB 0550

    Re: Ram detection problem

Your system supports DDR2 SDRAM. This is the specification of ram supported by your motherboard. There is a maximum of 2 GB Ram is supported. But the supported format for the same is 2 x 1 of 1GB each. The below link is the official website for your system. Read the specification there. And one thing I will recommend which fix the issue is updating the BIOS. That is the most common way to fix the same.

Memory 1GB RAM possibly the motherboard, the laptop can be identified on the maximum amount.Amount and type of memory, motherboard, and depending on your specifications. Each with the motherboard, it is a certain amount. There is nothing that the most recognizeable increase the amount of memory if the amount of installed memory board allows the maximum capacity is what can be done.If your board should allow 2GB of memory, but it only recognize 1 GB or memory allows, you may need a BIOS update flash with no.
