They incorporate the principle of operation of amps HD , namely the treatment of video thanks to Splendid HD the possibility of passing the audio stream HD and video HD with a single HDMI 1.3 ( bitstream * ) . As I said earlier some software players support the decoding of audio HD in 7.1 in 192KHz/24bit , Asus book reading software to handle these formats: Total Media Theater ( ArcSoft ) supports playback of three formats Blu- ray : MPEG -2 HD , AVC and VC1 . On the design side , personally I find it beautiful , class, sober with connectors gold-plated , entries are light when no cable is plugged in, it's almost a pity that some config . PC connections are back. by cons its dimensions may cause problems in both height and depth, it Asus has released version Xonar HDAV 1.3 Slim with smaller dimensions . Asus offers three possibilities:the HDMI 1.3 is the only one able to convey without converting all the new HD audio formats , namely DTS -HD Master Audio , DTS High Resolution Audio , Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus . These functions require however a amplifcateur new generation catching the decoding of these formats.

Shown in passing that the sampling rate (48 kHz , 192 kHz ... ) is not automatically adjusted according to the sources : It must also use the HDMI output in the Xonar HDAV Center. Shown in passing that the sampling rate (48 kHz , 192 kHz ... ) is not automatically adjusted according to the sources : f you have an amplifcateur HDMI that does not support the decoding of these audio formats , you can select from Total Media Theater your audio setup (5.1 , 7.1 ... instead of HDMI ) , in which case the sound will be decoded format uncompressed LPCM , up to 192 kHz/24 bit ( as long as the Xonar HDAV Center is configured to do so.
