    GA-G41M-ES2L overclocking RAM to 1066MHz

I have a 2gb patriot and I have overclocked ram to 1066 MHz but start it is written that it is at 800mhz, on a sapphire 790GX am2 Currently I am having GA-G41M-ES2L motherboard. I do not know if this because of the voltage of the ram because it normally runs at 2.1 v but the slots on the motherboard is etched 1.8 V c Another thing the coefficient multiplier is 14 - 14.5 - 15 which was a passage from 2.8 ghz to 3.2 ghz 5.14 and a test of OCCT 10 min each time, but as I've been afraid of doing something not right with the stories of vcore and all I got back to 205 and 14.5.

For RAM, it must change its voltage / frequency in bios. You must find the option "Memory Voltage" or "vDIMM voltage" and to 2.1 V. For the frequency if you want to overclock the RAM (Its frequency increases when you overclock the CPU), modifies the frequency of the RAM in bios to 1066 (Seeking the "Memory Frequency" or "Memory Clock", it depends on the bios) and then it will rise in the overclock. If you do not want to overclock the RAM, leave the 800 Mhz and just like that when you overclock the cpu, it will rise at the same time and will reach 1066 MHz when CPU clock" reaches 266 MHz.

So I have changed the vDIMM from 1.95 to 2.1 v and the memory clock from auto to 1066. You know I do not go to cpu clock to 266 since c is a black edition with unlocked multiplier the cpu overclock easily to 3.6 or 3.8 (but it s not my goal), I want to test just 20% is largely sufficient condition may be that I change the cooler. Can you just suggest me a better option?

Normally everything is ok for the CPU RAM, overclocking is increasing "CPU clock" usually bring better performance than increasing the multiplier effect. As you only want to test, it is better overclock by increasing the multiplier at 16-16.5 without touching the setting "CPU Clock" or to "vCore." That way you will see what the CPU temperature reaches over and it is stable. For the original cooler, it should show an effective overclock.

I am having a Core 2 Quad 9505 and an ATI 5770 Vapor X. The system is fully stable and fast, to gamble and to surf well suited. The workmanship is very good and the caption for the assembly as well, better than other boards. Windows 7 installation was done after 15 Min. The board is a strong buy recommendation. In the BIOS, you can make a lot of settings; overclocking is not an issue. BIOS update with X-Change in the BIOS itself, works well.

I have the main board since early March and can only report positive. The board I am running an Intel E5200, 2GB RAM, Sapphire HD4670. Overclocking works properly, the E5200 runs at 3 GHz with standard Vcore. Whether on board graphics or PCIe graphics card, the system runs under Windows xp absolutely stable. Can the motherboard for small PC systems or as a home server recommended without objection. With onboard graphics and 2 HDDs, I have a consumption of 48 watts idle.

I run the board with a Celeron E3200 and 4 GB of RAM GSkill. Everything was very stable from the start, the installation of Windows 7 / 64 went smoothly, after 20 minutes was all done. Windows 7 recognized all components of the board immediately and installed the correct driver for it. To increase performance, I have followed only the latest chipset drivers and graphics drivers from Intel installed website. A minor operation in the BIOS drew from the E3200 instead of 2 * 2400 MHz * 3200 MHz whopping 2 (12 * 266). The performance index of Windows 7 was enough for note 6.6 and even the integrated Intel X4500 brings 4.7
