Usb keyboard not working in intel dp55sb bios

I have a question. On a Dell computer is no more PS / 2. So the keyboard and mouse are connected via USB . The problem is that under MSDOS , when we want to make a GHOST example, the keyboard and mouse are not usable. How do they work. Is not normal that you meet as problem , as all the pc before it reaches windows are in the bios , and of course the keyboard and mouse are operational, if not precisely how to enter the bios ( it makes me remember an old Signature: keyboard not recognized press a button ) So go see in your bios to activate the usb. At 95 % of cases you have a USB keyboard and you do not check in the bios activation or rather the support of USB keyboard.
