    i7 920 4.2 Ghz Unstable

    Hi all,

The day before yesterday i installed a I7 920, ASUS P6TMotherboard, Zhi Qi 6G 1600 CL7 suit, Tt V1 Cooler, KK500A power, elements of T chassis. This machine is used to do 3D on CPU Demanding rendering, the default 2.66 to I7 920 owners feel slow. So the box before the first stand sits on the table test overclocking ability. Super to 4.2G (210 * 20),Memory16XX first not more, QPI bus 7.2G. Power, OK, 5 minutes full load test, results were ideal. Any idea ?

You need to re-install the radiator, fitted tight identified, but also for new inorganic materials (COOLER MASTER TF-400, 1 320 @ @), by the way the chassis made some changes to the chassis of hot air can go faster discharge. So now the original clock, the standby temperature of 40 degrees left, right with you almost But now a new problem, that is super to 4G, the standby temperature about 50 degrees, burn, the temperature soared to 100 degrees.

Like normal, and can be overclocked to your goals Congratulations, as temperature set not much to complain, only one way for the radiator. If you want on the 4.5G, liquid nitrogen may even have the gun barrel is not certainly, overclocking is a personal choice. Water well, particularly in hot weather. Over to 100 degrees is not so high as not to over and affect the host version of life. Another way is cpu buck, slowly down, down into the windows can not rise slowly after the reset CMOS.
