Need help on Server Motheboard

Hello everyone

I'm new in this friendly e-community. I hope I'm able to explain myself well.

I am working with an Engineer on a Server MOBO HP Proliant dl320 G6.
When the Server powers on, an Amber light appears on the power button. Other leds light up too on a blinking mode. But there is one led that stands out sending a continuous blinking and that's the section name called
"Perr Rest Caterr" which seats between Battery cmos and Intel chip. HP vendors have said that the culprit is the MOBO, but, they sent out the wrong item for us to install.

Is there a way to troubleshoot to stop this error led from blinking...
Any ideas or information of your experties to get this baby on the road again?

If they had said you then get the proper item for installation because it might happen that it will work for some time but after sometime you it might happen that it may effect some other hardware part of your system.

I'm still waiting for the vendor's parts. I just thought, if, there might be a chance to find a temp "band-aid" to continue running this server mean while part arrives. It may take a week or two for arrival - so they say.
