mobile Dual Pentium T2330 based on which core?

    Hello,
I have Dell 1720 with a Pentium Dual Core T2330 CPU, which runs at 1.6GHz.I want to know which core this is based on? The T2300 and T2350 are Core Duo cores, which I think are derived from the Petium M. Intels own website lists this as an Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core Mobile Processor. Can you help me out??

I think it's Conroe-L (2xConroe cores but only 1 MB of shared cache). FWIW, That's a <= 90mm ² chip, even smaller than ~ 110mm ² Allendale, compared to the number Conroe.old ~ 140mm ² of new mine mentioned Conroe / Merom-L: http://www.beyond3d .com / content / news / 175 (I have heard allegations that there * is * a single-core Conroe-based die since then, however, and if the T2330 is actually based on Merom-L then obviously no basis has been disabled in this SKU.

The T2330 is based on the M0 stepping of the reduced cache Merom, same as the parties T5xx0. It is native 2MiB L2 cache with 1MB disabled.Conroe-L is a SKU office used by the 4x0 series parts Celeron, Merom-L is equivalent mobile 5x0s.It used by the Celeron M is based entirely Core microarchitecture, it is the Core 2 Duo that Celeron P4 generation were the Pentium 4's Full Fat - prune some of the cache, FSB guard down and disable certain features (eg, VT, TXT).

Desktop Celeron dual-core have already been released (SPEC) with 512KiB L2 cache, but otherwise the same as the Dual Core Pentium chips, including the use of the Allendale core. Conroe-L seems to be purely single core, but with 1 MB of L2 cache on-die, even if only 512KiB is activated.
Basically Pentium Dual Core is used as a sign of intensification, Core 2 Quad / Duo> Pentium Dual Core> Celeron, the underlying architecture and even some of the cores are built on are the same.
