Suggest standard RAM for windows 2008

Can anyone suggest me, what is the maximum amount of RAM supported by Windows 2008 server, Standard x64 edition? Should i need to do any changes to my existing system, Is there any additional fees for using a bigger amount, or that prices goes for migrating from standard to enterprise? Any suggestion would be appreciated..

I have seen some of the blogs where they have recommended the following configuration for the Windows 2008 server.

Maximum (32-bit systems): 4 GB (Standard) or 64 GB (Enterprise and Datacenter)
Maximum (64-bit systems): 32 GB (Standard) or 2 TB (Enterprise, Datacenter,and Itanium-Based Systems)

I think the windows 2008 system requires the following or more system configuration,

2x 3.33 Ghz CPU
2 GB Dedicated RAM
200 GB RAID 10 Storage
100 Mb/sec Tier 1 BGP4 Internet

After finding lot more on the internet for your answer i found the following:

32 bits of address space gives you 4,294,967,296 - or just under 4.3 billion - bytes; that's 4Gb.
