Does vista recognize all 3 cores of phenom

I have Gigabyte MA790GP-DS4H motherboard and AMD Phenom II x4 processor. I installed 4 GB Zion DDR 2 - 1066 RAM. When i installed Vista it showed me only one processor and the RAM was shows as 800 instead of 1066. What may be the problem? Can anyone help!?

I suggest you check if all the drivers are installed. This may cause problem. Also check if you have updated the BIOS and the drivers for the AMD processor in installed.

Thanks for such a quick reply, but i sorted it out myself. I had installed every driver and even updated the BIOS. But i had forgotten to install the chipset drivers. As i installed it after posting for help here, and did a reboot, everything is fine! Thanks!
