    CPU temperature 45C to 50C

    hi

    the specs of my system are in my signature, i am running windows vista

    the problem is i have a standard cpu cooler originally supplied by the company

    but the normal running temperature of my cpu is around 45C to 50C

    is this temperature normal or should i modify the cooler

    my system isn't overclocked

    I suggest you update your bios with the latest version if you havent already done so, and see what happens.

    But in real terms if you have fitted the HSF correctly the actual temp of the cpu is in real terms around 45C.

    Just set the thermal protection a bit higher than normal to stop the thing shutting down on you.

    Temperature is not very high, so if you are not having any problems, don't even bother about it.
