hello I want to change memory 1 gb ram deliver more but under 32 bit vista it say it only detects 3GB while with the addition that I want I will make a 4 gb. I have DDR2 and would like to go for DDR3.

We detail the configuration of your PC and your main occupations above. Why do you want more than 3GB ?. increase your ram only if you want to play high end games in your pc.

acer aspire m5640-1m7e
intel quad core 2.4ghz
ram 3GB RAM
Nvidia geforce 8600gs 512 mb
500GB hard disk
and the rest I do not know

I actually want to play gta 4 crysis and in better quality than I am now.

32-bit as you go 3 exploitable maximum, even if you put 12 GB on a 32 bit, you could use that 3 See 3.5 (depending on the configuration).
